INTRODUCTION
All members of the Hypnotherapy Association are required to abide by the HA's Code of Ethics and Practice as published on this website. Complaints against HA members are very rare. Any complaint is investigated by the Professional Standards Officer and examined against the HA's Code of Ethics and Practice. If a complaint is upheld then remedial action is taken, and from August 2010 the details are published here for an appropriate period of time. If you are considering consulting a member of the HA you can check here to see whether there have been any recent complaints upheld against them.
HOW TO COMPLAIN
To make a complaint against a member of the HA please contact the Head Office who will send you a copy of the HA's Complaints Procedure documentation. Please note that only written complaints can be considered, and that the HA's remit is to ensure compliance with the published Codes of Ethics and Practice.
