Following my education in the New Forest area of Hampshire and two years of National Service, one year of which was served in the Far East, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry. After a couple of years in London I applied to work abroad and was subsequently based in Thailand for 8 years and later in Nigeria. In my early thirties, I opted out of what I now call “big business”, to work in Greece for some years and afterwards in France.
I decided to study Complementary Medicine and qualifed in Homeopathy in 1979 and Radionics (distant healing) in 1982, Nutritional Therapy in 1992 and Hypnotherapy in 1996.
I work in Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire, where I combine the above therapies to help patients overcome common ailments such as anxiety, arthritis, congested sinuses, depression, excessive fatigue, IBS, insomnia, PMS, panic attacks, sexual difficulties, skin problems, habit extinction, weight control and many other discomforts and diseases.
I find hypnotherapy useful in practically every case, because I'm convinced that “wellness is in the mind”. I recognise that the success I have experienced using hypnosis is thanks to the physical relaxation and mental alertness that individuals experience in this agreeable state, that allows a unique form of communication between practitioner and client.
I wish more people realised just how much they could help themselves, each day, simply by utilising the positive mental states linked to hypnotherapy. Hypnosis is a wonderful experience that can be used to tremendous advantage.
The 29 years I have been in practice have given me a good understanding of human problems and I thoroughly enjoy helping my clients to restore the balance in their lives.
