Hello I’m David Masters, I’ve been in private practice now, for nearly fifteen years, and looking back I would say that probably one of the most difficult things for any new client is to make up their mind to telephone, and make an appointment for that very first visit. As already mentioned I have almost 15 years of experience, having started my Practice in November 1994. In those early days every new day brought with it a new challenge; people would say things like have you ever dealt with someone with a problem like mine before and a lot of the time I had to say honestly, NO! But, I’m willing to do my best for you.
Nowadays, the reverse is true, most of the time I am able to say YES and I’m very pleased that you decided to come to see me because I will be delighted to help you.
In my time as a therapist, I have worked very closely with local N.H.S. health Professionals; indeed, I have had the privilege of presenting numerous workshops for their Smoking Cessation teams and helping them understand more about successful approaches in overcoming the emotional hurdles that many of their patients suffer from.
