Helen has always been interested in alternative forms of health care and nutrition. After studying Sociology and Psychology at University, Helen changed course and obtained a degree in Mathematics. She began her career working for a charity, the RNIB, transcribing Maths books into Braille. For several years Helen was surrounded by small children, having two sons and helping to found and run a nursery in London. She learned more about health and nutrition during this time and always looked for a safer alternative for treating her children, learning about homoeopathy. After a move to Basingstoke she became a lecturer at a College of Technology, teaching Mathematics at all levels and obtaining her teaching qualification. She also gave birth to a third son.
Circumstances led to a change of direction and she trained as a hypnotherapist with the Association of Stress Management, obtaining her Diploma in Hypnosis. Helen has now been a practising hypnotherapist for 12 years. She practised from home for a number of years, combining it with her other work as a Mathematics lecturer. She has successfully treated many clients for a wide range of problems. She specializes in anxiety disorders and panic attacks, IBS, stress, fears and phobias, as well as confidence and performance issues. In recent years she has trained in Reiki I and II, has studied Holistic Retuning with Jayne Williams, Life Coaching with The Coaching Academy, as well as becoming a trained Applied Kinesiologist with the John Logue College, and is currently training as a Shamanic Practitioner with the Eagles Wing school in London. She now uses a combination of therapies where required and can change peoples health and lives very quickly. She is also happy to see children of all ages.
