James is a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, registered with the United Kingdom Hypnotherapy Register. He is a full member of the Hypnotherapy Association, one of the UK's biggest independent associations for practicing hynotherapists. James is also the local area contact for Oxford.
He has over twenty years experience in the field of hypnosis / healing and counselling people. James also has a Reiki 2 Degree, as well as a Diploma in Counselling Skills, and has worked for a number of voluntary organisations. James has spent time working with challenging behaviour teenagers and adults. He has a background working in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Trust NHS, with a strong interest in forensic psychology.
James qualified in 1997, with the Midland Institute of Hypnotherapy, and received a Diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy. He also qualified with the Association of Stress Consultants BSY group and received a Diploma in Corporate Stress Management. James later went on to train with the Hypnotherapy Control Board, International Association of Hypno-Analysis, and received a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis in 2004. James is also a strong believer in continuous development and education. In the field of hypnotherapy James has had great success, using hypno-analysis to uncover the root cause of the problem. By doing this, this allows a person to move the block that stopped them from moving forward. James has also used hypnosis for successful goal achievement and running a successful business.
