Hello, I am Sherine Lovegrove and welcome. I have been in practice since 1997 and originally come from a nursing background where I trained as a Midwife and Intensive Care Nurse Specialist. Having this background is very helpful to me especially when working with medical related conditions. I am a qualified Hypnotherapist, EMDR practitioner and am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP) as a Neuro-linguistic psychotherapist. I also work as a gentle birth practitioner facilitating clients with hypnosis, reflexology and creative healing massage.
I truly believe that we have all the resources within ourselves to get better. Unfortunately when we have a problem we get stressed and this causes our mind "to loop" stopping creative thinking. Hypnosis helps us to move into a more receptive and suggestible state that allows us to take suggestions thus freeing up our "looped patterning" so that new thoughts can be self-generated.
When you come for a session it is my job to help you open up your thinking to new possibilities. You obviously already believe that you can get better otherwise you wouldn't be there. Using a combination of Hypnosis, NLP & Symbolic Modelling hopefully we will be able to bring things outside your awareness into a space where you can change them.
