Advantages of Membership
The Hypnotherapy Association was formed in November 1997 as a non-profit making organisation aimed at representing all professional hypnotherapists in practice. We are unique in that we are completely independent of all training organisations or school registers.
When you join us, you will find both professional support and academic fulfilment in our Regional Meetings, Workshops and our in-house journal “The Hypnotherapist”, as well as financial benefit through our online UK Register, the client Referrals Service, the Corporate adverts in Yellow Pages, and articles in newspapers and magazines.
The Hypnotherapy Association website receives many thousands of visitors each month, whether or not you have a web presence of your own, you will benefit from this exposure because the details of your name, telephone number, and if you have them, your email address and website, will be entered onto the database. The website is updated on a daily basis.
The Association holds a weekend Conference each year with a variety of speakers. All members are invited to attend.
In all you should find it a very profitable experience, which will broaden your perspective, increase your knowledge and enable you to meet new friends and colleagues.UK Hypnotherapy Register

The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up with government funding and support. Its key function is to enhance public protection by giving the general public and commissioners of services access to a list of practitioners that have been assessed as meeting national standards of competence and practice. It currently registers practitioners from fourteen disciplines with more to follow.
Members of the Hypnotherapy Association may apply to register with CNHC which is a professional register. Whilst it is not compulsory to register with CNHC, if you wish to do so, in order to gain the quality mark, CNHC has agreed that the Hypnotherapy Association may verify applications from its membership.
